Born in Belgium in 1979, Vincent C. Olm is a self-taught designer who launched himself into the design world despite the fact that nothing in his background had predestined him for this profession. Curious about everything, wisely hyperactive, he was quickly seduced by the twin opportunities offered by the life of a designer: the opportunity to reinvent himself on a daily basis on the one hand, and on the other, the chance to escape boredom. Often unusual, his creations emanate from his crusade against boredom : in a world saturated with morose objects, Vincent knows how to surprise and distract, if only for an instant, with products in whose genes are interwoven a calculated dose of humour, fantasy and poetry. Refined, they go straight to the heart of the matter whilst some kind of emotion, sometimes ephemeral, but often renewed.

Né en Belgique en 1979, Vincent C. Olm s'est lancé dans l'aventure du design en autodidacte, alors que rien ne le prédestinait réellement à embrasser cette profession. Curieux de tout, sagement hyperactif, il s'est rapidement laissé séduire par la double opportunité que lui offrait l'activité de designer : d'une part, celle de se réinventer chaque jour et, d'autre part, celle d'échapper à l'ennui. Souvent décalées, ses créations sont l'émanation de cette croisade contre l'ennui : dans un monde saturé d'objets moroses, Vincent entend surprendre et distraire, ne fut-ce qu'un instant, par l'intermédiaire de produits qui contiennent dans leurs gênes une dose calculée d'humour, de fantaisie ou de poésie. Epurées, ses créations vont à l'essentiel tout en suscitant une émotion, éphémère parfois, mais souvent renouvelée.
